All we know is it is never wise to tell Wyomingites how to vote!

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) attempts to deflect Wyoming voters’ criticism over House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney’s (R-WY) Decision to Back Trump Impeachment.

“I believe @RepLizCheney is one of the strongest and most reliable conservative voices in the Republican Party. She is a fiscal and social conservative, and no one works harder to ensure that our military is well prepared,’ Graham wrote on Twitter.

Graham’s comments come as more than half of the House Republican Conference has committed to vote to remove Cheney from her leadership role. One senior House Republican told Breitbart News that GOP lawmakers believe Cheney should step aside voluntarily. Reps. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) and Elise Stefanik (R-NY) are possibly in the mix to replace the Wyoming Republican.

Meanwhile, Republican Parties in ten Wyoming counties have now censured Cheney, and that number could continue to grow, reports the Casper Star-Tribune.

The Sweetwater County Republican Party said Cheney had ‘betrayed the trust and failed to honor the will of the very large majority of motivated Wyoming voters who elected her.’

‘Because she voted in an anarchic proceeding against President Donald J. Trump which was conducted in contravention of established principles of due process — a proceeding that provided no probative evidence for consideration, called no witnesses to testify under oath, permitted no questioning of the accusers by the accused — Representative Liz Cheney stood in defiance of the quantifiable will of the substantial majority of Wyoming citizens and devalued the political influence of the State of Wyoming,’ the resolution read”, wrote.

Defeat “Liz Cheney in this upcoming election,” Matt Gaetz, (Rep-Florida) said, “and Wyoming will bring Washington to its knees. How can you call yourself a representative when you don’t represent the will of the people?”

Gaetz, who traveled to Wyoming from Florida,  also called the daughter of former vice-president Dick Cheney “a Beltway bureaucrat turned fake cowgirl that supported an impeachment that is deeply unpopular in the state of Wyoming,” Our Free Opinions wrote.

State Sen. Anthony Bouchard announced that he would challenge Republican Rep. Liz Cheney in the upcoming primary for the U.S. Congress in 2022. ‘

By announcing her decision to vote for impeachment Representative Cheney denied President Trump due process; she judged the ‘evidence’ before it was presented and refused to listen to the arguments made,’” the Wyoming GOP released in a statement earlier this month.

We have questioned Cheney’s loyalty to the Republican conservative block. We still think that she reacted to the Trump Impeachment guided only by her dislike for the former President.

The Democrats put forth no evidence that reasonably supports an Impeachment. Cheney sets forth a dangerous path for future Impeachment proceedings: She is willing to vote without meaningful examination.

We welcome a challenge to her likely bid for Congress. Contrary to Graham’s tacit support for Cheney, Wyoming voters appear to beg to differ. She has not proven her loyalty to Republicans according to a growing swath of voting conservatives—But of course, it is never wise to tell Wyomingites how to vote.
