Meghan McCain called on President Joe Biden to fire Anthony Fauci., saying the doctor has provided inconsistent messaging and questioned his expertise.
“I think the Biden administration should remove him and put someone in place that maybe does understand science or can talk like these other countries about how we can be more like these other places that are doing this successfully,” McCain said.
“Many of you can keep worshiping at the altar of Fauci. I’m not a phony — I will not go on tv and lie saying one thing privately and another on-air,” she tweeted. “This is my opinion. We need someone else in charge of coronavirus messaging and leadership”, she continued. Partial Source: MSN.COM.
We agree with McCain. We think Fauci has spewed conflicting and inconsistent views that stretch the bounds of common sense for an extended period, let alone scientific confidence.
We recognize that the CovidVirus is new and conclusions to a degree of scientific certainty about preventive measures and other aspects of the contagion are difficult to assess; however, Fauci has vacillated on fundamental advisories such as whether mask-wearing is necessary.
“He is constantly double-talking about the contagion, “don’t wear a mask,” “wear a mask,” “you are at a low risk,” “particles don’t remain on plastic bags and metal for three days,” “particles are airborne,” “children can go to school,” “need to determine if children can go back to school in the fall,” etc., the Hudson Reporter opined.
When you don’t consistently answer significant issues such as those noted above, people become worried. If you don’t know the answer to a substantial degree of scientific certainty, say so. In our opinion, the good doctor has failed to do that consistently; he should be dismissed.
