Few people in Hollywood, or the entertainment business in general, support Donald Trump– they are out in force for Hillary Clinton. Their messages are nearly identical, Trump is a bigot and a racist, Clinton will work hard to protect the rights and beliefs of all liberally minded individuals.
When the elder singer and performer, Cher (of “Sonny & Cher” fame) took the stage Sunday in Provincetown, Mass., one of the country’s gay capitals, she compared Donald Trump to Stalin and Hitler. The liberal spectators roared with approval. She went on to endear herself, even more, when she said the people she grew up with were so cool and attractive that “When I was 9-years-old, I didn’t know there were unattractive people until I went to school.”
The crowd thundered again when she announced, “I met my first lesbian girlfriend when I was 11. She treated me like I was a grown-up, not like a kid.”
I’m here “for two reasons, one out of love, and one out of fear” because (Trump and Pence] “will try to take away every one of your rights,” she said. Cher condemned Trump saying he “doesn’t give a shit about the work,” he just likes the huge crowds and plaudits. Playing hard to the liberal group, she denounced Trump’s slogan stating “When he says he wants to make America Great again, he means he wants to make America straight and white.”
Cher then introduced Clinton who then essentially validated her guest’s racist and ludicrous accusations, and the crowd went wild. The “Beat Goes On”.
