Two people are dead, and 13 others were shot at a party in Chicago’s South Side early Sunday morning.
An unidentified suspect began shooting after a disturbance with other people at the party at about 4:41 a.m., the Chicago Police Department said. Two people were pronounced dead at the scene, and 13 others were also shot. US NEWS reported.
The shooting happened at the 6700-block of South Chicago Avenue.
“One of the patrons began to shoot inside the building, striking multiple people,” Chicago police officials said in a statement said. ABC-Chicago reported.
So far, 106 people have been shot and killed this year in Chicago; 466 have been shot and wounded. The total shot is 572.
