For political gain, Joe Biden trades on death as he campaigns across the country—mainly via digital advertising.

He frequently highlights his son’s passing and Americans’ death who lost their lives to the Coronavirus. For example, during the last and final debate, he wasted no time asking the audience to picture a family sitting at a dinner table with an empty chair or a wife or husband arising in the morning absent a spouse.

Of course, this patent appeal is not a novel approach—politicians, particularly from the past, have invoked soldiers’ death to gain votes. But Biden has made such appeals the cornerstone of his campaign.

He offers nothing substantive but rather claims he has a plan to combat and end the deaths—he doesn’t.

Everything he says about what he would do to combat the virus, President Trump and his massive and well-organized team, headed by Vice President Pence, have already put into place. Biden offers nothing new.

But the main point here is that trading on death is a particularly shameful approach—It shows a lack of character—and based on Biden’s cheating and plagiarizing at law school (which he admits), his friendship and support of James Strom Thurmond, an admitted racist and member of the Klu-Klux-Klan (which he admits), and his alleged shady dealings with his son, Hunter Biden, illuminates Biden’s bad character.
