FORMER MINNESOTA WOMAN, ALLISON FELDMAN, FOUND DEAD IN HER HOME- NO SUSPECTS NAMED BY POLICE YET

UPDATE: Suspect Arrested in Feldman’s death

Allison Feldman was found dead in her home located in the “Old Town” section” of Scottsdale, Arizona last week and as of right now, Scottsdale Police are not naming any suspects in the death nor have they officially classified the case as anything other than a random act of violence. The body was discovered this past Wednesday afternoon by Alex Sukhodolov, her boyfriend, who she had been dating for about ten months.

Feldman was a 2001 graduate of Minnetonka High School, a wealthy suburb west of Minneapolis where she was a cheerleader. She later attended the University of Arizona and was working for a Swedish medical-device company. The police say they had no prior reported incidents at the address where Feldman lived.

COMMENT: The police are not releasing many details about their investigation is because the case is new and they are unaware themselves of many of the details.  A second reason for not providing the public with certain aspects of the case is because they do not want any future suspects to claim they heard about the details in the media as opposed to having firsthand information about something important. For example, a suspect may provide information about a small detail that only the perpetrator of the crime would know thereby making him or her a likely suspect.
