House Committee Issues Final Report Finding No Collusion Between Trump and Russia:
Democrats infuriated over report, still angry about Clinton loss
WASHINGTON — The House intelligence committee released their final report on the Russian/Trump allegations of collusion—they found no evidence to support the claim by Democrats that Donald Trump’s campaign colluded with Russia in the 2016 presidential campaign.
The report caps an investigation that began with the promise of bipartisanship but quickly morphed into a purely political battle between Democrats and Republicans. Trump wrote on Twitter, “Just Out: House Intelligence Committee Report released. ‘No evidence’ that the Trump Campaign ‘colluded, coordinated or conspired with Russia.’ Clinton Campaign paid for Opposition Research obtained from Russia- Wow! A total Witch Hunt! MUST END NOW!”
As expected, the report infuriated Democrats including Rep. Adam Schiff (Democrat- California) who said, “Committee Republicans chose not to seriously investigate — or even see, when in plain sight — evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.”
Meanwhile, a separate probe led by special counsel Robert Mueller continues.
OUR FREE OPINION
This exhaustive report vindicates President Donald Trump and his 2016 campaign officials from any collusion activities with the Russians. The bogus Mueller “investigation” should follow suite—very quickly. Mueller and his team continue to waste millions of dollars when it is clear that no collusion took place. Democrats are willing to spend unlimited funds to attack Trump because they hate him and his supporters. This is not about justice; instead, Democrats are still intensely angry over Clinton’s loss to Trump in 2016.
