A former television producer, who Googled his victim’s name 40,000 times, has been jailed for three years and six months for violating a restraining order that was first imposed in 2005. Elliot Fogel (40), made numerous phone calls and sent cards to Claire Waxman (38) even after being served his 3rd restraining order. He is alleged to have stalked her for 12 years, broken into her car, and filed civil suits against her for libel. He had previously been sentenced in 2012 and 2010 for violating restraining orders 5 times. He was convicted of the latest charges this week. He was ordered to provide the serial numbers and passwords to all computers and mobile phones he owns to the police.
