The West Virginia State Police and numerous other law enforcement officials are searching for Jody Lee Hunt (39), a suspect in the murders of at least 4 people. Two of the victims have been identified as Sharon Kay Berkshire (39) of Westover and Michael David Frum (28) of Maidsville, West Virginia. Their shootings took place on Sunset Beach Road in Cheat Lake. Another probable victim in the shooting-spree is Doug Brady who owned a towing and vehicle recovery company in Westover where he was shot. Information about the 4th victim’s identity has not been disclosed so far. Hunt is believed to have escaped in a black F-150 Ford truck with the words “Rough Country” on the back window, however, there is no definitive information as to whether the suspect is still in possession of the vehicle. Maidsville, near Morgantown, West Virginia, is 4.7 miles from Westover and 20 miles from Cheat Lake. Some reports indicate that Berkshire was Hunt’s ex-girlfriend and that he posted thoughts about “vengeance”, “the love of his life” and suicide on Facebook. The massive hunt for Hunt continues.
