Minneapolis, MN — U.S. Alpine skier Lindsey Vonn said Thursday that she would not be representing the President of the United States, Donald Trump at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
The 33-year-old skier from Minnesota when asked on CNN, “Would you accept an invitation to the White House if you were to win Olympic gold?,” replied “Absolutely not.”
Vonn is known in the sports world for not winning many significant medals given her multiple attempts and for dating Tiger Woods. She went to the Whitehouse in 2014 with the troubled golfer when Obama was President.

Vonn is among a minority number of radical athletes who are using their position to vocalize their disrespect for the President of the United States. A quick survey of Minnesotans reveals that her actions are not supported by a majority of the state—most Minnesotans support the office regardless of who is President. Her words are shameful and disrespectful.
