When Mueller Indicted 13 Russians, He Likely Didn’t Expect Them to Show up– One did and Discovery Must Now be Provided

A federal judge denied special counsel Robert Mueller’s request to delay court hearings relating to his indictment of three Russian companies, and 13 Russian citizens who are accused of using Facebook and other social media sites to meddle with the 2016 election.
A lawyer appeared in court claiming to represent one company named in the indictment along with Yevgeny Prigozhin. The company, is Concord Management and Consulting LLC, is controlled by Prigozhin, No representatives of the company appeared. The court appearance was the first by any of the Russian defendants accused by Mueller.

This case could be troublesome for Mueller because Prigozhin likely will demand prompt discovery that could disclose information that is intertwined with information dealing with President Trump—data Trump lawyers would like to get their hands on. Or, Mueller could dismiss the case to avoid the discovery problem. If he does the latter, his credibility will be negatively affected.
