As the gap between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton narrows to a near dead heat, Trump can find comfort in the prayers of a religious group in India called Hindu Sena. The group supports Trump because they feel he is the strongest Presidential candidate committed to fighting against Islamic terror groups. The worshippers meet and hold prayer sessions regularly where they toss offerings into fires and vocally express “their wholehearted support for Trump” according to a BBC report. Trump has taken a firm stand on immigration issues, including increased scrutiny of Muslims with questionable credentials. The presumed Republican nominee has also threatened to seize oil operations controlled by radical groups such as ISIS. The Hindu Sena people have expressed great fear over ISIS and similar organizations and believe Trump is the right person for the job to get rid of them. Meanwhile, a majority of Americans are now expressing similar concern over the perception that such terrorist groups are acting with impunity. These fears have prompted many Democrats to flock to the Trump camp especially since neither Clinton or Sanders have convinced the voters that they are tough enough to get the job done.
