When Sirbastion was found alive inside his dead mother’s pouch five years ago in Western Australia, he was taken to a rescue center where he has been living ever since. If released, he would be rejected by other kangaroos. Presently, he shares quarters with a blind kangaroo According to the Daily Mail, when Sirbastion the albino kangaroo was rescued from his mother’s pouch as a joey he weighed just 1,75 pounds. But thanks to his voracious appetite and the care of animal workers in Western Australia, he is now a fit, healthy, and fully-grown adult.Sirbastion grew so healthy, as he chomps down on one of his favorite treats – a banana.

Sirbastion was brought to the rescue center five years ago after being rescued from his dead mother’s pouch at just a few weeks old. Jones explained that, while he is now entirely fit, his albinism means he would be unlikely to survive back in the wild and therefore cannot be released.
