Mainly, the so-called “Brexit” decision is based upon a fundamental shift away from multiculturalism. The elite (those who are wealthy and in power) benefit immensely from controlled business access to multiple countries. The working and middle-class members of Great Britain, who may benefit to a lesser degree, believe the game is not worth the candle if it means surrendering their distinct values, customs, and authority to the whims of foreigners. Immigration, for purely economic reasons (“Moneygration”), is a real threat in the minds of those who are unwilling to accept the displacement of their cultural beliefs. Great Britains do not want people from other countries telling them what to do, plain and straightforward. It may be true that trade deals organized and agreed upon by members of the EU must now be changed, but freedom from the restraints of the EU agreements is the prize. We realize that corporations from around the world may stand to lose money over Great Britain’s decision to leave the union. We also think the permanent loss of profit is a commercial fiction. Freedom does not come without a cost and requires bravery. It was not that long ago when the United States fought so bravely to rid themselves from the opinions, policies, and control of foreigners. We applaud the Brexit vote and predict there will be a “Frexit (France) and “Nexit” (Netherlands) vote soon.
