Trump Keeps his Word and Nominates a Brilliant Jurist to the Supreme Court- Judge Comey Barrett
President Donald Trump officially nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett to fill the Supreme Court seat left empty by the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg just one week ago. Trump acknowledged that the nomination is “one of his highest and most important duties” as president, noting that it was the third Supreme Court pick.”
Barrett, age 48, is a Roman Catholic and seven children, two of them adopted from Haiti. Her youngest child has special needs.
She is not only extremely bright, but she is also a mom’s candidate, driving her children around in a van and being a great mom while writing the most scholarly court opinions ever.
President Trump, through this nomination, once again kept his promise to appoint qualified judges who do not permit their personal beliefs to interfere with their legal analysis.
